is a painful, pus-filled infection that occurs near the anus, typically due to an infection in one of the small anal glands. The infection can lead to the formation of a swollen, tender lump in or around the anus. This condition is often caused by a blocked gland, where bacteria become trapped and multiply, leading to an abscess.

Anal or rectal prolapse is a condition where part or all of the rectum slips out through the anus, appearing as a visible bulge. It can occur during straining, such as with bowel movements, and may cause discomfort, bleeding, or fecal incontinence. It is more common in older adults and may require medical or surgical treatment.

Ano-rectal pruritus is itching or irritation around the anus and rectal area. It can be caused by poor hygiene, excessive cleaning, infections, skin conditions, or underlying medical issues like hemorrhoids. The itching may be mild to severe and is often worse at night or after bowel movements.

Symptoms include pain, swelling, redness, drainage, foul odor and abscess.
